About the role

TheQuality, Supply Chain & R&D (QSC & R&D) Domain Architect is a senior Enterprise Architecture role within Digital & Technology (D&T), accountable for shaping and governing theend‑to‑endarchitecture across Quality, Supply Chain and Research & Development domains, while workingin close partnership with other Domain Architects to deliver acoherent, simplified enterprise architecture

Operating at the intersection ofscience, operations and technology , this role engages closely with senior leaders includingChief Quality Officer, Chief Supply Chain Officer, Head of R&D, Manufacturing and Operations leadership , and works laterally withCommercial, Corporate Functions, ERP and Technology Domain Architects to ensure architectural decisions optimiseenterprise‑leveloutcomes , not just domain performance.

The role designs,governsand evolves architectures that supportregulated,safety‑criticaland globally distributed operations, ensuring technology investments align tocompliance, resilience, innovationvelocityandend‑to‑endvalue streams A core expectation is theability to engage, influence and align both senior business leaders and peer Domain Architects , translating complextradeoffsinto clear,enterprisealigneddecisions.

Role purpose

To define, govern and evolveenterprise‑levelarchitectures for Quality, Supply Chain and R&D , whileactively collaborating with other Domain Architects to ensureHaleon’stechnology landscape isintegrated, simplified,outcome‑drivenand aligned to a small number of strategic global platforms

Key accountabilities

The QSC & R&D Domain Architect is accountable for:

  • Enterprise architecture strategy across Quality, Supply Chain and R&D

  • Strong engagement with and influence over senior Quality, Supply Chain and R&D leaders

  • Active collaboration with other Domain Architects to ensure enterprise coherence

  • Translation of regulated and operational strategies into target architectures and roadmaps

  • Close alignment with the ERP Domain Architect forSAP‑centriccapabilities

  • Design ofend‑to‑end,cross‑domainprocess architectures

  • Reduction of complexity through platform convergence and standardisation

  • Governance of architectural standards,principlesand guardrails

Key responsibilities

1. Quality, Supply Chain & R&D Domain Architecture

  • Definedomain strategies and target architectures across:

  • Quality (QMS,Deviations, CAPA, Change Control, Audits, Complaints)

  • Supply Chain (Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, Traceability, Serialization)

  • R&D (Clinical, Formulation, Product Development, Lab Systems, Data Management)

  • Architect solutions that enable:

  • Regulatory compliance and audit readiness

  • Supply chain resilience andendtoendvisibility

  • Faster, safer product development and innovation

  • Full product lifecycle traceability

2. Senior Leadership Engagement & Influence

  • Act as atrusted Enterprise Architecture advisor to senior leaders across Quality, Supply Chain and R&D.

  • Translate complex architectural topics intoclear,executive‑leveloptions,risksand recommendations

  • Shape investment,prioritisationand transformation decisions throughcredible architectural insight

  • Balance regulatory risk, operational resilience,speedand cost inseniorleveldecision forums.

3. CrossDomain Collaboration with Other Domain Architects

  • Workclosely and continuously with other Domain Architects (Commercial, Corporate Functions, ERP, Technology) to:

  • Designjoined‑upend‑to‑endvalue streams (e.g.ideatomarket,plantoship)

  • Align architectural decisions across domains to enterprise strategy

  • Prevent fragmentation and local optimisation

  • ActivelyparticipateinArchitecture governance forums , contributing domain insight while supportingenterprisewideoutcomes.

  • Resolvecrossdomainarchitectural tensions through collaboration, not escalation.

4. ERP & SAP Alignment (In Partnership with ERP Domain Architect)

  • Work inclose partnership with the ERP Domain Architect onSAPcentricprocesses including:

  • Manufacturing,planningand batch genealogy

  • Quality events and compliance integration

  • Financial and inventory alignment

  • Ensure ERP capabilities align with:

  • Endtoendbusiness processes

  • Regulatory and validation requirements

  • Enterprise data and integration standards

5. Strategic Platform Convergence & Simplification

  • Drive architectural decisions thatreduce tool proliferation across QSC and R&D landscapes.

  • Collaborate with other Domain Architects to steer towards:

  • Fewer strategic global platforms

  • Standardised core capabilities with disciplined extensions

  • Challengedomainspecificsolutions that undermine enterprise integrity,scalabilityor compliance.

6. Regulatory, Quality &CompliancebyDesignArchitecture

  • Ensure architectures embed regulatory and compliance requirements including:

  • GxP(GMP, GCP, GLP)

  • Data integrity,validationand auditability

  • Designquality‑by‑designandcompliance‑by‑design architectures that reduce reliance on manual controls.

7. CrossDomain Integration &EndtoEndProduct Flows

  • Partner with other Domain Architects to govern integration patterns across:

  • R&D Quality

  • Supply Chain Finance

  • Supply Chain Commercial

  • Ensure consistent master data, eventhandlingand traceability across domains.

  • Enable asingle, trusted view of product,qualityand supply performance

8. Data, Analytics &AIEnabledArchitecture

  • Architect data flows to enable:

  • Predictive quality and supply risk analytics

  • Endtoendoperational visibility

  • Accelerated insight across R&D and manufacturing

  • Align analytics architectures with enterprise data platforms and governance.

9. Architecture Governance, Portfolio & Delivery Enablement

  • Maintain architectural alignment across programmes,productsand platforms.

  • Support portfolio modernisation throughgap analysis and transition roadmaps

  • Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure architectureenables safe,rapidand scalable change

10. Architecture Community & Ways of Working

  • Actively contribute to and help lead acollaborative Domain Architect community

  • Share best practices across regulated,commercialand corporate domains.

  • Position Enterprise Architecture as atrusted internal consultancy that enables enterprise outcomes.

Your profile

Required:

  • 8+ years’ experience in Enterprise Architecture,strategyor consulting roles

  • Deep experience in regulated environments (Quality, Supply Chain or Life Sciences)

  • Proven ability toengage,influence and align senior leadersand peer architects

  • Experience architecting:

  • Quality management systems

  • Endtoendsupply chain platforms

  • R&D and product lifecycle solutions

Preferred

  • Experience working closely with multiple Domain Architects and ERP / SAP architects

  • Track recordof driving enterprise platform convergence

  • Exposure to AI and advanced analytics in operational domains

  • Experienceoperatingin large, global, regulated organisations

  • Remuneration: 26 510 to 36 450 PLN gross/month, depending on the level of experience and competences.
