About the role

TheCommercial Domain Architect is a senior Enterprise Architecture role within Digital & Technology (D&T), accountable for shaping and governing theend‑to‑endarchitecture acrossHaleon’sCommercial domain , encompassing Sales, Marketing, Trade Promotion, Customer Engagement,Ecommerceand Commercial Analytics.

As an Enterprise Architect with deepexpertiseinCommercial processes and platforms , the role bridges enterprise technology and corerevenuegeneratingbusinessobjectives, working closely withCommercial, Sales, Marketing and Digital leadership teams

The role designs, governs and evolves architectures that enableprofitable growth, customer centricity, productivity andinsight‑drivendecision‑making , while working in close partnership with theSalesforce Platform Architect, ERP Domain Architect and other Domain Architects to ensure astreamlined, coherent enterprise architecture gravitating towardsfewer strategic global platforms andend‑to‑endcommercial outcomes

The role also bringsspecific awareness of complex digital commerce environments , includingChina’se‑commerceecosystem, to ensure global commercial architectures are scalable,compliantand locally relevant whererequired

Role purpose: T o define, govern and evolveenterprise‑levelarchitectures for Commercial capabilities, ensuring technology choices enablescalable growth, consistent customer engagement, integratede‑commerceand trusted insight, aligned to Haleon’s enterprise strategy.

Key accountabilities

The Commercial Domain Architect is accountable for:

  • Enterprise architecture strategy for Commercial andE‑commercecapabilities

  • Translation of commercial strategy into target architectures and roadmaps

  • Strategic ownership ofSalesforce‑centredcommercial architecture

  • Alignment with ERP and Corporate Functions Domain Architects

  • Cross‑domain coherence acrossend‑to‑endvalue streams

  • Reduction of complexity through convergence onto strategic global platforms

  • Governance of architectural standards,principlesand guardrails

  • Executive‑leveladvisory to Commercial leadership

Key responsibilities

1. Commercial & Ecommerce Domain Architecture

Definedomain strategies and target architectures across:

  • Sales (Field Sales, Key Account Management, Sales Effectiveness)

  • Marketing (Campaign Management, Customer Journeys, Personalisation)

  • Trade Promotion & Demand Management

  • E‑commerce& Digital Commerce

  • Customer Engagement & Commercial Analytics

Architect solutions that enable:

  • Revenue growth and execution excellence

  • Omnichannel customer engagement

  • Integrated physical and digital commerce journeys

  • Advanced commercial analytics and forecasting

Ensure architectures supportglobal consistency withmarket‑specificexecution models

2.SalesforceCentricPlatform Leadership

  • Act as theenterprise architectural authority forSalesforce‑ledCommercial capability, working closely with the Salesforce Platform Architect.

  • Ensure Salesforce is positioned and evolved as thecore system of engagement for customer,salesand trade processes.

  • Shape Salesforce roadmaps to balance: Global standardisation vs. local flexibility; speedtovaluevs.longtermsustainability; Configuration vs. customisation

3. ERP & Commercial Integration (In Partnership with ERP Domain Architect)

  • Work closely with theERP Domain Architect to align Commercial and Finance processes across: OrdertoCash, pricing,rebates, promotions, revenue recognition,accrualsand trade spend

  • Ensure Commercial architectures integrate seamlessly with SAP and enterprise financial processes.

  • Jointly shapeend‑to‑end commercial‑to‑financialprocess architectures

4. Strategic Platform Convergence & Simplification

  • Drive architectural decisions thatreduce fragmentation and tool sprawl across the commercial andecommercelandscape.

  • Actively steer markets towards: a small number of strategic CRM,commerceand analytics platforms; reusable integration and data patterns.

  • Challenge local or tactical solutions that undermine enterprise scale, dataconsistencyor cost efficiency.

5. CrossDomain Integration &EndtoEndCommercial Flows

Partner with other Domain Architects (Corporate Functions, QSC/R&D, Technology) to ensure:

  • Seamlessdemand‑to‑cashandinsight‑to‑actionvalue streams

  • Coherent customer,productand pricing data across domains

Govern integration patterns across:

  • Commercial↔Finance

  • Commercial↔Supply Chain

  • Commercial↔Data & Analytics

6. Data, Analytics &AIEnabledCommercial Architecture

Architect data flows to support:

  • Advanced sales and demand analytics

  • AIdrivenforecasting and promotion optimisation

  • Customer segmentation and personalisation

  • Ensure alignment with enterprise data platforms and governance frameworks.

7. Architecture Governance & Standards

  • Enforce enterprise architecture principles including: single sourceof truth; APIfirstandeventdrivenintegration; standardfirst,customiselast, etc.

  • Define and applyminimumviablearchitectures, referencepatternsand guardrails

  • Support FinOps and TechOps practices to ensure commercial platforms deliver measurable value.

8. Portfolio, Delivery & Transformation Enablement

  • Maintain architectural alignment across programmes,productsand markets.

  • Support portfolio modernisation throughgap analysis and transition roadmaps

  • Partner with product and delivery teams to ensure architecture accelerates growth and innovation.

9. Architecture Community & Ways of Working

  • Actively contribute to the enterprise architecture community.

  • Promote reuse, sharedstandardsand architectural consistency.

  • Position Enterprise Architecture as avalue‑ledinternal consultancy for Commercial transformation

Your profile:

Essential

  • 8+ years’ experience in Enterprise Architecture, digitalstrategyor consulting roles

  • Experience across commercial technologies, includingSalesforce

  • Proven experience architecting: OrdertoCashand trade promotion processes; CRMcentricsales and marketing ecosystems; Ecommerceand digital commerce integrations

  • Understanding of global andmarketspecificcommercial models

  • Enterprise and business architecture mastery

  • Commercial andcustomercentricmindset

  • Ability to connect growth strategy to execution

  • Executivelevelinfluencing and advisory capability

  • Comfortoperatingacross ambiguity,marketsand complextradeoffs

Preferred

  • Experience partnering with Salesforce and ERP Domain Architects

  • Track recordin global platform convergence and simplification initiatives

  • Familiarity with AI/ML use cases in sales,marketingand demand planning

  • Remuneration: 26 510 to 36 450 PLN gross/month, depending on the level of experience and competences.
