Position Details

Role: Doggie Daycare Attendant & Groomer Status: Full-time Salary: $16 - $18/hour Schedule: Flexible schedule, including some weekends Experience: Grooming experience required; previous animal care or daycare experience preferred

Countryside Veterinary Hospital is looking for a motivated, compassionate professional to join our team in a unique role supporting both Camp Countryside Doggie Daycare and our grooming services. What You'll Do

  • Supervise dogs in Camp Countryside Doggie Daycare while maintaining a safe, fun environment.
  • Monitor dog behavior and encourage appropriate social interaction.
  • Feed boarding and daycare pets according to their care plans.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of daycare, kennel, and grooming areas.
  • Provide professional grooming services for cats and dogs.
  • Perform breed-appropriate grooming techniques and styling.
  • Bathe, brush, dry, clip, and trim pets while prioritizing their comfort and safety.
  • Monitor pets for changes in health or behavior and communicate concerns to the veterinary team.
  • Provide exceptional customer service during check-in, pick-up, and client interactions.
  • Maintain grooming equipment and keep workspaces organized and sanitary.
