Help Pets Live Happier, Healthier Lives
At The Pet Care Club of Seattle, we believe dog walking should do more than provide exercise. Our walks are rooted in R+ positive reinforcement, force-free, low-stress, enrichment-based care, and are designed to support each dog’s physical, emotional, and behavioral well-being.
We’re looking for compassionate, dependable people who want to become Canine Behavior & Enrichment Specialists.
This is not a traditional dog-walking job. You’ll learn to recognize canine body language, understand a dog’s emotional state, and provide individualized walks that build confidence, reduce stress, encourage appropriate behavior, and make everyday life better for the dogs in your care.
No professional dog training experience is required. We provide 40+ hours of paid training, ongoing mentorship, and continued education.
This is a part-time, mobile field position, with most services occurring weekdays between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
You’ll travel directly to clients’ homes throughout Seattle and surrounding communities. We work to build efficient routes near where you live, but you must be comfortable driving throughout our service area.
You must have a valid driver’s license, reliable insured vehicle, and smartphone.
Your drive to your first client and home from your final client is your regular commute and is unpaid.
Required travel between scheduled clients is compensated.
We use a service-based pay structure.
Paid at our base rate of at least the applicable local minimum wage.
Once fully trained and cleared to work independently, you’ll earn a rate of $24.30 an hour plus standard IRS mileage reimbursement and tips.
