A Peek Into Your Diggiddy Doggy Daycare Day

  • Animal Supervision & Husbandry - Ensure all enclosures are clean and well-maintained, with a constant supply of fresh water

  • Animal Welfare - Monitor dog interactions to prevent distress or injury caused by other dogs, ensuring a safe and positive environment for all dogs

  • Providing outstanding customer service where you and your customer will have memorable, meaningful interactions. Welcome clients at the door and ensure a smooth handover by safely transferring dogs to the appropriate play enclosure

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with both customers and the team

  • Prepare play enclosures to accommodate the number and needs of dogs, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment

  • Ensure all areas are clean and well-maintained

  • Clear away animal waste, thoroughly clean, disinfect and look after animal play areas

  • Bathe and groom animals

  • Prepare meals, including special diets, safely transfer animals to feeding areas, and ensure adequate rest post meal

  • Clean and prepare comfortable sleeping areas for animals

  • Promptly report serious health problems to manager and adhere our OSH procedures and processes

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all animals in care

Do you have the below experience and looking to take the next step in your career?

  • Experience in a similar role or working with animals is an advantageous but not essential

  • Individuals who treat our canine clients ethically and with the utmost respect

  • A love of animals, with strong commitment to your clients and Petstock

  • A commitment to work safely & adhere to our health & safety policies

  • Physically fit, with ability to lift products and animals up to 20kgs

  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing work conditions

  • Ability to prioritise and manage conflicting priorities, ensuring timely completion of tasks

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to build relationships and rapport with customers and the team

  • Strong attention to detail
