About the Role As a Dog Bather / Groomer in Training, youâll be hands-on with the dogs, helping them look and feel their best. Youâll start by mastering the basicsâbathing, drying, and providing routine wellness careâwith the opportunity to advance into a certified Groomer role through our training program! This is a great opportunity for anyone who wants to grow their skills, work in a fun environment, and make a difference in the lives of dogs and their families.
What Youâll Do â
Bathe, blow-dry, clip/grind nails, clean ears, brush coat, clean teeth, and express glandsâ
Prep dogs for grooming according to the service ticketâ
Perform wellness checks using our S.C.E.N.T. Check appâ
Work as part of a team to ensure services are completed efficientlyâ
Assist team members and ask for assistance when neededâ
Ensure the safety of all dogs and team members at all timesâ
Follow Scenthound sanitary and cleaning practicesâ
Perform other duties as needed to keep the center running smoothly
