We are looking for: Financial Controlling Intern

Role Purpose

We are currently looking for a Financial controlling Internship to join our dynamic team based in Milan. You will support the Controlling department in all related activities such as:

• Participate in the monthly closing process by reviewing financial results and performing cost variance analyses against budget and prior year figures.
• Support the preparation and coordination of the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accurate tracking and control of actual spending.
• Monitor key Retail KPIs to provide actionable insights to the business.
• Assist with store inventory control activities, including periodic stock takes and reconciliations.
• Analyze financial and operational data, preparing ad hoc reports and presentation deck

• Develop strong analytical skills by working with large volumes of financial and operational data.
• Learn how to perform dynamic financial analyses to support business decision-making.
• Gain hands-on experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance monitoring.
• Build confidence in using financial reporting tools and advanced Excel to analyze and present data.
• Understand key Retail KPIs and how they drive business performance.

• Master’s degree in finance or finance controlling;

• Excellent knowledge of Excel and Power Point

Languages: Fluent in English and Italian
