We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our Finance team and support the Accounts Payable (AP) function. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in accounting processes within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

The Accounting Intern will work closely with the accounting team, contributing to the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices, expense reports, and payment activities while developing a strong understanding of financial operations and internal controls.

Role Purpose

In this strategic role, you will be responsible for

• Support the Accounts Payable team in the processing and recording of supplier invoices.
• Verify invoice accuracy and ensure compliance with company policies and approval workflows.
• Assist in the reconciliation of vendor statements and resolution of discrepancies.
• Support payment preparation and monitoring activities.
• Maintain and update supplier master data within the accounting system.
• Assist with month-end closing activities and AP account reconciliations.
• Archive and organize accounting documentation in accordance with company procedures.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external suppliers to address accounting-related inquiries.
• Support ad hoc accounting and finance projects as required.

How can you contribute

• Experience:
• Bachelor's degree (completed or in progress) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong interest in accounting and financial processes.
• Good analytical and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
• Soft Skills: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities
• Languages: English, both written and spoken.
