PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create, compile, and produce applicable documentation.
  • Communicate with internal Departments and Vendors.
  • Create hard copies and electronic copies of the applicable department documentation.
  • Ship applicable documentation if necessary.
  • Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
  • Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.

Job Requirements:

  • Create Disassembly and Inspection Reports based on the dispositions provided by technicians.
  • Retrieve traceability data by communicating with planning and production departments.
  • Retrieve evidentiary documentation (router packets) from various departments and scan and upload digital copies in document management system.
  • Generate Final Documentation (Databook) for remanufacturing projects of NOV equipment per IADC guidelines.
  • Work with internal quality assurance reviewers to meet IADC requirements.
  • Work with product engineering and compliance team to retrieve historic technical data and survey reports.
  • Identify potential improvement opportunities within the applicable systems and work with relevant departments on such improvements.
  • Pursue continuous improvement in its own activities and operations.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the USA.
  • Must be able to work without sponsorship now and in the future.
  • 0% Travel.

Education & Experience Qualifications

  • High School or associate degree with 2-5 years of experience in documentation.

Technical Competencies

  • MS Office Suite
  • Adobe Pro or Nuance
  • ERP System knowledge is highly preferred (Oracle, SAP, Glovia, etc.)
  • Good analytical skills
  • Solid understanding of part traceability is preferred.
