Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and verify commercial invoices, packing lists, and shipper's letters of instruction.
  • Draft and process Air Waybills and house air waybills.
  • File and manage Shipping Bills and coordinate the uploads.
  • Apply for and manage export incentives or licenses.
  • Verify Certificate of Origin and specific country-required documentation
  • Generate post shipment sets for negotiation under Letter of Credit
  • Track flight departures, arrivals and transhipments and update the internal system in real time.
  • Handle proof of delivery collection and archive digital and physical export files systematically.
  • Coordinate with airlines, ground handlers and CHA for cargo handover, booking space and Customs examination.
  • Handle dangerous goods declarations if shipping hazardous or temperature sensitive air cargo.
  • Resolve discrepancies in weight, dimensions immediately to avoid demurrage or offloading.

Education and experience

  • Any Graduate or Postgraduate with a degree in Logistics, Supply chain and commerce)
  • 7 to 12 years of experience in air freight forwarding or export operations.
