Position Overview

We are proactively identifying qualified candidates for this position in anticipation of an upcoming contract opportunity. The availability and start date of this role are contingent upon contract award and finalization.

While this position will primarily be performed remotely, we are seeking candidates located in Massachusetts or the surrounding region who can travel onsite in Massachusetts when business needs require.

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to support the review and validation of documents processed through an Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) system. This role is responsible for confirming that documents are classified correctly and that information extracted from each document is complete and accurate. This role duration is expected to be 3-6 months.

This is a high-volume, fast-paced role that requires strong attention to detail, consistent accuracy, and the ability to work efficiently across multiple systems. An understanding of public benefit eligibility programs is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review documents processed through the Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) system.
  • Compare source documents against system-generated results to confirm documents are classified correctly.
  • Verify that data extracted from documents is complete and accurate.
  • Identify and document incorrect classifications, inaccurate data, missing information, and other discrepancies.
  • Complete a high volume of file reviews while maintaining established quality and accuracy standards.
  • Navigate efficiently between multiple screens, systems, and electronic files.
  • Apply knowledge of eligibility programs and supporting documentation when evaluating system results.
  • Handle sensitive client and program information with appropriate confidentiality.
  • Document findings clearly and consistently.
  • Communicate recurring issues, unusual documents, and potential system patterns to the project team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with or working knowledge of public benefit eligibility programs, particularly SNAP, TANF, Medicaid, or other health and human services programs.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to quickly and accurately compare source documents against system-generated information.
  • Ability to perform repetitive, high-volume review work while maintaining focus, accuracy, and consistent quality.
  • Comfortable toggling between multiple screens, copying and pasting file numbers, and navigating electronic files and systems.
  • Ability to follow detailed procedures, identify discrepancies, and clearly document findings.
  • Experience in data validation, document review, eligibility determination, quality assurance, testing, or a similar function is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment, with occasional onsite work in Greater Boston area as needed during normal business hours.
  • Experience with document management, optical character recognition (OCR), machine learning, or Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) is helpful but not required.

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role means efficiently reviewing a high volume of files while consistently determining whether documents have been classified correctly and whether extracted information accurately reflects the source documents.

The ideal candidate is comfortable with repetitive, detail-intensive work and can maintain a high level of focus throughout the day. They are able to balance speed and accuracy, follow established procedures, recognize discrepancies, and communicate patterns or concerns when they arise.
