Position : Document Controller

Industry : Oil & Gas

Location : Pengerang, Johor

Contract Period : +/- 12 months

Scope of Works:

• Manage and maintain all project documentation within the Document Management System (DMS), ensuring accuracy, proper filing, and strict version control.
• Control the issuance, distribution, and retrieval of documents to internal stakeholders, contractors, and external parties.
• Ensure all documentation activities comply with project procedures, standards, and quality requirements.
• Track document status, follow up on submissions, and coordinate with project teams, vendors, and contractors to ensure timely updates and delivery.
• Support project reporting, audits, and regulatory requirements by maintaining complete, traceable, and well-organized documentation records.
• Assist in Plant Change Delivery (PCD) activities/projects by ensuring all change-related documentation is properly controlled and updated in accordance with project lifecycle requirements.

Requirement(s):

• Minimum 5–10 years of experience as a Document Controller within the Oil & Gas or industrial project environment.
• Proven experience in Plant Change Delivery (PCD) or project change management documentation is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Document Management Systems (DMS/EDMS) and document control procedures.
• Familiar with project lifecycle documentation, engineering documents, and vendor/subcontractor deliverables.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems and audit requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage high-volume documentation.
• Strong coordination and communication skills with ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Willing to be based in Pengerang, Johor.
