Seymour Whyte is seeking an experienced Document Controller to join our team in Western Sydney. Working closely with our project teams, you’ll play an important role in maintaining accurate and effective document control while supporting the delivery of complex civil infrastructure projects.

We’re looking for someone who is flexible around location and open to where the opportunity could take them, whether that’s working within our Western Sydney projects, in our head office in North Sydney, on Mitchell's Causeway in the blue mountains, or across our broader project portfolio.

About Seymour Whyte:

We are a successful civil contracting business that has been operating in Australia for over 35 years. • Support the red line markup process for RFI and NCR amended documents, particularly project drawings.
  • Act as the key contact for the document control system, providing support, inductions and training to project team members.
  • Work closely with the Project Quality Manager and Project Manager, identifying document management issues that may impact project delivery and supporting the document handover process.
  • Maintain document control requirements in line with Seymour Whyte procedures, relevant legislation, industry standards and project requirements.

About you:

  • Previous experience in a Document Control role, ideally within construction, civil infrastructure or engineering
  • Sknowledge of version control and document management principles
  • Experience using a document management system
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A current driver license

  • Employee share program, giving you the opportunity to invest in the long term success of the business
  • Salary continuance insurance and financial wellbeing benefits
  • Purchased leave options, giving you greater flexibility when you need it
  • Health, fitness and wellbeing benefits, including confidential professional counselling support
  • Career development, leadership programs and employee recognition initiative

Many of our projects are located in regional areas or on sites without access to public transport, therefore all applicants must hold a current Driver’s Licence and have their own transport.
