Job Description

Job Title: Document Controller

The Document Controller will be responsible for managing and overseeing documents for a particular project or for an entire organization. This includes ensuring the proper categorization, storage, retrieval, and distribution of documents. The Document Controller will maintain and manage all important documents for the organization, ensuring that they are easily accessible and stored securely.

1. **Document Management:**

- Establish and maintain an efficient document control system.

- Manage the storage, organization, retrieval, and archiving of documents.

- Ensure that all documents are accurate, up-to-date, and comply with the company's standards and policies.

2. **Document Distribution:**

- Distribute documents to relevant parties and ensure proper receipt.

- Track and manage the distribution and receipt of documents.

3. **Version Control:**

- Maintain and control document versioning and revisions.

- Ensure that all stakeholders are working from the latest versions of documents.

4. **Compliance and Standards:**

- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.

- Conduct regular audits to ensure document control processes are being followed.

5. **Security and Confidentiality:**

- Ensure that sensitive and confidential documents are stored securely and access is controlled.

6. **Coordination and Communication:**

- Coordinate with various departments to ensure document control requirements are met.

- Communicate effectively with team members to provide updates on document status.

7. **Training and Support:**

- Train and support staff on document control procedures and systems.

8. **Reporting:**

- Generate reports on document status, versioning, distribution, and compliance.

Qualifications:

- **Education:** Diploma or degree in business administration, information management, or related field.

- **Experience:** Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in document control, preferably in the [construction, oil & gas, etc.] sector.

- **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in document management software (e.g., SharePoint, Aconex, Documentum) and Microsoft Office Suite.

- **Certifications:** Certification in Document Control is a plus.

- **Knowledge:** Understanding of document management systems and best practices.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex documentation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ﷼5,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Riyadh: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Required)
