Job Description

The Operations team at Nova is looking for a Document Control Specialist to perform ECO reconciliation with Manufacturing Engineering and Planning, Operations and Engineering personnel to support our industry leading metrology equipment. The Document Control Specialist is responsible for analysis, accuracy, data entry, confirmation, and planning around Engineering Change Orders (ECO) that are impacting the company’s manufacturing processes for new semiconductor metrology capital equipment. Responsible for ECO implementation from Agile into Oracle, new part number and BOM and BOM structure verification. Also confirming that the costs and roll-up are working within the ERP (Oracle). Working closely with the Planning, Finance and Supply Chain team is required.

Pay Range: $90,000-95,000

Role Responsibilities

What will you do as a Document Control Specialist?

• Review ECO’s for completeness and accuracy.
• Analyze and Verify ECO data entry into ERP via SOP process. Run reports. Communicate regarding status.
• Document change analysis for potential financial audit verification.
• Enter ECO data into ERP (ORACLE). Complete data entry SOP.
• Reduce ECO processing time by optimizing data processing algorithm.
• Communicate Oracle issues with Oracle team (Nova HQ).
• Work with Planning team to test impact of changes in ERP.
• Work with Planning team as needed to support Planning activities and act as a backup to this function.
• Work with Finance team to assess ECO changes and develop automated reports.
• Work with Manufacturing Engineering Team to execute ECR and ECO changes in Agile and ERP.
• Communicate with all stakeholders on issues and status as required.
• Provide weekly report on activities completed this week and planned for following week.
• Position reports to the Manager of Manufacturing Engineering.

Requirements

Essential Skills & Experience:

• AA in a technical field is a minimum, or equivalent.
• Experience as a financial auditor with an emphasis on verification.
• Minimum of 3 years Document Control and/or Manufacturing Engineering experience in either semiconductor capital equipment, medical equipment, or similar is required.
• Experience with Oracle is required.
• Experience with Agile SW is required.
• Experience with Excel (lookups, macros pivot table) is required.
• Experience with SolidWorks, Autocad, Altium is helpful.
• Must possess strong troubleshooting skills in area of document control.
• Exhibit proficient use of computers, Windows operating systems, knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel) to perform job function.
• Strong analytical/problem solving skills.
