Function:

Engineering and Engineering ServicesYou will report to the Engineering Supervisor, Projects. The Document Control Specialist is responsible for establishing and maintaining document control systems and procedures to ensure quality and compliance. The Document Control Specialist will coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Designers and other stakeholders as required to support major projects.

You will report to the EngineeringSupervisor,Projects TheDocument Control Specialistis responsible forestablishingand maintaining document control systems and proceduresto ensure quality and complianceThe Document Control Specialist will coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers,Designersandother stakeholders asrequiredto support major projects.

You will

  • Actively support andparticipatein all Environment, Health & Safety initiatives; ensure controlled documents support safe work, Process Safety Management, and regulatory compliance across the site

  • Establish,maintain, and continuously improve site document control systems, standards, templates, and workflows

  • Receive, log, track, and distribute internal and external documents (procedures, specifications, vendor data) using established transmittal processes

  • Ensure documents areproperly reviewed, approved, filed, version-controlled, andretainedin accordance withsite requirements

  • Maintain document registers, metadata, and tracking logs to ensure audit-ready traceability

  • Control issuance of documents (digital and hardcopy) to ensure only current, approved versions are in use; remove/obsolete superseded documents whererequired

  • Create andmaintainMaster Document Lists for projects and site operations

  • Administer document numbering conventions and coordinate drawing/document number requests

  • Manage drawing and technical document revision control, including redlines/markups, approval routing, and publication of final IFC/record documents

  • Set up and administer digital review/markup workflows andmaintainrecords of comments, dispositions, and approvals

  • Assistwithprojectdocumentationand recordsturnover

  • Apply retention and records management requirements;maintainconfidentiality, data integrity, and security of sensitive technical and compliance information

  • Support verification ofdocument accuracy and completeness

  • Archive historical documents for compliance

  • Assistin creation of documents,templatesand formsfor departments across the site

  • Coordinate with other CF sites to share best practices

You Have:

  • Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field preferred

  • Minimum 5 years of document control or administrativeengineeringduties

  • Proficiencywith MicrosoftOffice including Word, Excel,Outlookand Teams

  • Experience working with SharePoint or similardocumentmanagement system

  • Working knowledge of document revision control and governance processes

  • Experience with Power BIfor data visualization and reporting is an asset

  • Previousexperience supporting large capital projects is an asset

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Salary   

The estimated base pay for this position is typically between $59,80000 and $74,20000.

The actualbasepay for the position may be influenced by factors such as education, training, skills, qualifications, competencies, years of experience, job-related knowledge, andthe scope of the role, and may be outsidethe posted pay range.
