As the Document Control Analyst I, Operations Support, you will work on a variety of assignments with a primary focus on document editing, formatting, and coordinating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for procedural development. This role also entails documenting regulatory compliance, managing all the documentation on an online library of procedures and reference materials, and providing systems training for the library. The Document Control Analyst I will schedule and lead meetings with document stakeholders and provide guidance/suggestions to keep documents to Invenergy standards while keeping note of technical changes. Candidates should be enthusiastic and excited to work in the renewable energy industry and willing to learn the terminology and components of renewable energy production facilities to facilitate document writing in this field.

Responsibilities

  • Manage process documentation development for the operating fleet, which includes leading conference calls for small or medium sized groups of SMEs
  • Support revisions to existing documentation based on the needs of the company
  • Communicate changes to relevant internal document owners including Engineering, EHS, Site, and Control Center Personnel
  • Organize and maintain a document repository to ensure end-user utilization is as efficient as possible
  • Ensure internal procedures and policies reflect current regulatory or contractual requirements
  • Work with Operations Support group to develop and maintain training aids for fleet personnel
  • Research and create new/formalize existing ad hoc process control documents
  • Assist in the documentation of engineering processes that support operations and maintenance activities
  • Garner feedback from fleet personnel and develop improvements to SharePoint workspaces and document libraries
  • Create and maintain Fillable Forms for mobile devices that adhere to Invenergy formatting standards and taking lead on distribution to renewable sites
  • Assist in transition to metadata filing and cataloging electronic documents

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Technical or Professional Writing, Communications, Journalism, or similar major.
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and effectively prioritize issues
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel and to work under minimal supervision
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic understanding of SharePoint
  • Up to 20% of travel may be required
  • Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Skills

  • Up to two years of writing experience, preferably in energy or utility industry
  • Previous experience writing reports and developing KPIs
  • SharePoint library management, knowledge, and experience as an administrator
  • Basic understanding of JSON
  • Bilingual (Spanish or Portuguese) highly desirable

Base Pay

$26.12 - $30.96 USD Hourly

Bonus: 0% - 15%

The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Invenergy considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education and skills.
