Document Assessment Team Lead

Department: GP Assistants

Employment Type: Fixed Term - Full Time

Location: Kingfisher Medical Centre & Kingfisher Surrey Docks

Compensation: £30,000 - £32,000 / year

Every day, thousands of clinical documents flow into our GP practices. Your role is to make sure they're processed quickly, accurately and safely so clinicians have the right information at the right time.

As our Documents Team Lead, you'll spend most of your time working alongside your team processing documents yourself, while also providing day-to-day leadership, coaching and operational oversight.

You'll monitor workload, support colleagues, improve processes and make sure patients don't experience delays because paperwork gets stuck.

What you'll do

Lead the day-to-day delivery of our document management service.
Process clinical documents while supporting your team.
Monitor workload and quality standards.
Coach and develop team members.
Resolve operational issues and remove barriers.
Improve processes and develop SOPs.
Work closely with GPs, practice teams and operational managers.

You'll be a great fit if you

Have experience in GP or NHS administration.
Understand clinical document workflows.
