**Job Summary:**
The Doctor's Technician will assist physicians in patient care activities, including preparing treatment rooms, taking vital signs, and documenting patient information. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical environment.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent required; certification or training as a medical assistant preferred
- Proven experience working in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
**Responsibilities:**
- Prepare examination rooms for patient visits, ensuring cleanliness and organization
- Assist physicians with patient exams and procedures
- Take and record patient vital signs accurately
- Update patient medical records with current information
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and medications
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing medical supplies
**Additional Requirements:**
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends, as needed
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move patients when necessary
