Pay: $25–$30/hour (based on experience)

We’re looking for a hands-on, mechanically inclined technician to join our Louisville team.

As a Dock & Door Service Technician, you’ll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial and industrial dock and door equipment at customer sites. This is a field-based role where no two days are the same—you’ll troubleshoot real problems, work directly with customers, and make an immediate impact.

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain dock levelers, overhead doors, dock locks, safety gates, and shelters
• Perform installations and identify potential issues at job sites
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Complete preventative maintenance and safety checks
• Communicate directly with customers to explain issues and solutions
• Accurately document service work and complete work orders
• Work closely with dispatch, parts, and sales teams to meet customer needs

What We’re Looking For

• Mechanical aptitude (automotive, construction, equipment repair, maintenance, etc.)
• 1–5 years of relevant experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, or mechanical systems
• Welding or cutting torch experience is a plus
• Experience operating lift trucks or scissor lifts is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in a physically active environment
