Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive DOCK CLERK to manage the day-to-day operations of our shipping and receiving office.

You will be the central hub for our logistics flow, ensuring every shipment is tracked accurately on our live board and maintaining seamless communication between our dock and dispatch teams.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy.

This role requires a blend of office-based administrative work and active coordination on the dock. Must be comfortable with a high-activity workspace and meeting strict end-of-day inventory deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Office Management: Oversee day-to-day office operations to ensure a smooth administrative workflow.
  • Shipment Processing: Receive and process al incoming/outgoing shipments; immediately update status changes on the company’s live tracking board.
  • Documentation: Prepare, verify, and organize al shipping and receiving documents to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Inventory Control: Conduct thorough and accurate physical inventory counts at the conclusion of every business day.
  • Team Liaison: Act as the primary communication bridge between the dock floor and the dispatch team to ensure timely departures and arrivals.
  • Digital Organization: Utilize Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, and Gmail) to manage data, generate reports, and correspond with stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Google Products, specifically Sheets (data entry/formulas), Docs, and Mail.
  • Attention to Detail: An eagle eye for accuracy in documentation and inventory numbers.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a high-energy, fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly.
  • Independence: Proven ability to work effectively with minimal supervision and manage your own task list.
  • Multitasking: Ability to handle paperwork, driver check-ins, and digital updates simultaneously.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar logistics or dock role is preferred, though we are wi ling to train the right candidate who possesses the core ski ls.

Salary: $20.00 per Hour, plus Bonuses

Hours: Monday - Friday, 12:00pm - Close (7:30pm - 9:30pm)
