Regal Boats is seeking an energetic, customer-focused boating professional to join our team as a DMR & Warranty Specialist This role combines technical expertise, dynamic sales support, and exceptional customer engagement to bring the Regal experience to life.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Review, process, and track all incoming DMRs and warranty claims for accuracy and completeness.
  2. Coordinate with dealers and Regal departments (Engineering, Quality, Production, Purchasing, etc.) to ensure timely resolution of product issues.
  3. Maintain accurate records of claims, correspondence, and parts returns in the company’s warranty management system.
  4. Prepare reports on claim trends, failure analysis, and dealer performance metrics.
  5. Support the leadership in analyzing recurring issues to identify opportunities for process or product improvement.
  6. Ensure all claims are handled within established timeframes and according to company policies.
  7. Provide technical assistance and guidance to dealers regarding claim submissions, part returns, and repair procedures.
  8. Collaborate with Accounting to ensure proper claim credits and payments are processed.
  9. Participate in dealer and customer satisfaction initiatives by providing clear communication and professional support.
  10. Assist in other service-related administrative tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications

  1. High school diploma or equivalent; some college or technical coursework preferred.
  2. 2+ years of experience in warranty administration, customer service, or quality documentation (manufacturing or marine industry experience preferred).
  3. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable learning ERP or CRM systems.
  6. Ability to interpret technical drawings, service bulletins, and product specifications.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Experience in marine manufacturing, service, or a related technical field.
  2. Knowledge of fiberglass boat construction, systems, and components.
  3. Familiarity with UKG, Oracle, or similar enterprise systems.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional environment, with many days on the water, at dealerships, and with customers. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.

Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and communicate effectively. The role requires the ability to operate a computer and other office equipment for extended periods, as well as the ability to access and navigate all areas of manufacturing, marina, and event facilities.

The employee must be able to safely operate and maneuver boats of various sizes during demonstrations, training, and delivery events. This includes bending, reaching, climbing in and out of vessels, and performing light to moderate lifting of equipment or materials (generally up to 50 pounds).

This position requires frequent travel, including extended periods of standing, walking, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
