Your tasks

  • Team Leadership: lead, develop and motivate a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement and digital excellence
  • Digital Roadmap for R&M: develop, maintain and oversee portfolio steering. Build integrated IT & Digital roadmap connecting business strategy and future needs. Maintain a business capability and process-to-technology view to support roadmap decisions, standardization and avoidance of solution duplication in close cooperation with Group IT
  • IT & Digital MTP & portfolio steering: Manage overall IT & digital divisional budget planning, prioritization, track performance against KPIs in close cooperation with the Platform/Product Owners and Group IT interfaces. Develop, maintain and oversee portfolio steering. Ensure transparent and capacity-based prioritization of R&M IT & Digital demands across MTP planning and Call-Off processes, balancing strategic value, business urgency, architecture fit, delivery capacity, risk, compliance and available budget in alignment with Platform Owners and Product Owners.
  • Business Demand Management: Lead R&M bottom-up demand collection, IT & Digital roadmap alignment, budget guardrails/ QBR inputs. Additionally, owns local standards, RACI, ServiceNow quality, board cadence and escalation discipline; ensures BU approvals follow one framework. Enforce standardized business cases, benefits, cost assumptions, process/capability links and architecture / InfoSec guardrails
  • Budget & Performance management: manage the IT&Digital budget for the division, track performance against KPIs and resources allocations. Ensure continuous optimization focus. Product level: Ensure backlog lean time project handover, monitor cycle time, budget utilization, benefits and Vienna / IT delivery interface issues.
  • Stakeholders management: act as focal point and interface between R&M and Group IT/OPGS for demand, portfolio and governance topics, ensuring effective communication, alignment and collaboration on all digital interfaces. ensures successful digital transformation through close cooperation with Platform/ Product Owners ensuring transparent, efficient and future oriented digital culture. Orchestrate the divisional demand management community, ensuring consistent ways of working across BU Demand Managers, Product Owners, Platform Owners and Group IT interfaces, without replacing delivery accountability owned by the respective project/product structures.
  • Risk & Compliance Management: ensures all digital initiatives comply with relevant security, legal and regulatory requirements and proactively manages risks related to IT and digital transformation
  • Digital culture & innovation: closely works with key interfaces across division and Group IT to ensure consistent best practices sharing, adoption of new technologies and continuous process improvements to enhance business performance. Ensure that major digital initiatives include business readiness, adoption, communication, training and operational handover considerations as part of governance and delivery follow-up together with Product Owners and Platform Owners.

Your profile

  • BSc/MSc in Economics; IT
  • Relevant professional experience: > 12 years ; >8 years of leadership experience
  • Ability to develop and implement digital strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Experience in managing digital portfolios and overseeing the delivery of multiple, complex IT projects.
  • Strong understanding of IT architecture principles, systems integration, and technology trends.
  • Skills in gathering, analyzing, and prioritizing business requirements to ensure value-driven digital solutions.
  • Proficiency in managing budgets, forecasting, and tracking performance against financial targets.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including Group IT and business units.
  • Experience in leading digital transformation initiatives and managing organizational change.
  • Track record of driving innovation, adopting new technologies, and implementing best practices. Connected to market digital trends and developments
  • Knowledge of IT security, data privacy, and regulatory compliance requirements.

About OMV Petrom

OMV Petrom is the largest integrated energy producer in Southeastern Europe, with an annual Group hydrocarbon production of approximately 38 million boe in 2025. The Group has a refining capacity of 4.5 million tons annually and operates an 860 MW high-efficiency gas-fired power plant. The Group is present on the oil products retail market in Romania and neighbouring countries through approximately 780 filling stations under two brands – OMV and Petrom.
