
To be an assistant for DJ Skills & Styles student workers will need to assist with the setup and return of all dj coffins and speakers at the start of the first section of class and end of the last section of class. The attributes of a successful candidate are someone who is on time to work and somewhat knowledgeable about the ins and outs of the dj equipment. A successful candidate will impact the university in a positive way by showing professionalism to their fellow classmates in the form of efficiency and conduct.
A Student assistant in DJ Skills & Styles will be required to do the following

Knowledge of the dj gear and software (Serato) is encouraged though not a strict requirement
On-Campus Position - Employees in this position are expected to work on-campus during regularly scheduled work hours due to the nature of the work being that which is not feasible, or not in the best interest of the organization, to be performed remotely. #LI-DNI
Hourly Rate: $17.00-$19.00

The DJ Skills & Styles Student Assistant supports the setup and breakdown of DJ coffins, speakers, and related equipment before and after class sessions. Responsibilities include connecting power, checking equipment, reporting damage or issues to the professor, and safely returning and storing all equipment. Candidates must be currently enrolled students who can safely lift the equipment and understand basic signal routing; familiarity with DJ equipment and Serato is preferred.
