Cat Digital is the digital and technology arm of Caterpillar Inc., leveraging the latest technologies to build industry leading digital solutions for our customers and dealers. As a Strategic Consultant, you will serve as an advisor between Caterpillar’s Digital Behavior & Marketing Data Lake (DIW/DBM) teams and our Rental and related enterprise and Dealer partners. Your will facilitate the alignment of technical IT/Data engineering capabilities with complex business and marketing objectives to drive enterprise growth.
In this role, you are responsible for making sophisticated data sets highly consumable, empowering analytics teams and site owners to translate raw information into high-performing digital experiences and optimized dealer marketing strategies. You will bring together the knowledge of Architecture and Data Engineering and business teams to determine requirements, govern processes, and assist in developing data-driven insights that drive measurable value.
Employees may also be responsible for performing other job duties occasionally as assigned.

Technical Excellence: Knowledge of a given technology and various application methods; ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges.
Vendor/Supplier Management: Knowledge of external provider management processes and ability to effectively manage the business relationship with external providers (e.g. vendors, service providers, contractors, consultants and suppliers).
Digital Marketing: Knowledge of processes, techniques, and platforms of digital marketing; ability to implement or manage digital marketing programs.

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
