This roleownsthe vision, structure, and execution of the Sales Development organization, ensuring alignment with enterprise growthobjectivesand strong partnership with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Executive Leadership. Set and lead the enterprise sales development strategy, translating companyobjectivesinto scalable, measurable initiatives that drive sustainable pipeline growth
Participatein enterprise strategic planningwith Senior Executive Leadership, includingfacilitatingQuarterly Business Reviews and contributing tothreeyearplanning initiatives
Build, mentor, and inspire highperformingSales Development leaders and teams, providing leadership training and clear career development paths
Lead divisional Learning & Development planning, promoting continuous education and expanding new learning offerings informed by performance data and sales feedback
Conduct annual gap analyseswith Sales to evaluate performance and develop targeted training content
Design andoptimizeinbound and outbound sales development models, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and a strong prospect experience
Leverage data, forecasting, and reportingto evaluate performance, manage capacity, track trainee progress, and guide strategicdecisionmaking
Create,facilitate, and report on divisional OKRs and KPIs, ensuring metrics align with enterprise success measures
Identifyand implement tools, technologies, and methodologiesthat improve productivity, consistency, and operational effectiveness
Identifyoperational challenges and develop creative, scalable solutionsto support performance and growth
Develop and manage the division’s annual budget, acting based on forecasting and performance trends
Conduct regular coaching oversight, including shadows, “shadows of shadows,” and quarterlycheckinswith Sales Development leaders and associates
Maintain monthovermonthSales Development reporting, including trainee tracking, capacity planning, turnover analysis, and progress monitoring
Compile and share annual Sales Development resultswith Sales Leadership
Support new revenue opportunities through partnerships,thirdpartyrelationships, and business alliances
Identifyand recommend causes and initiativesaligned with company values and goals
What You Bring
Six years of professional experience leading or mentoring others in a formal sales environment
Two years of experience in the staffing industry or aninsidesalesrelatedfield
Proven experience leading sales development orrevenuegeneratingteams at scale, ideally within a complex orhighgrowthorganization
Demonstrated ability to build, coach, and lead leaders, not just individual contributors
Deepexpertisein sales development methodologies, metrics, and enabling technologies
A strategic mindset paired with the ability to execute—comfortable setting vision whileremainingclose tothe work
Exceptional communication and influence skills, including the ability to engage and present to executive stakeholders
A datadrivenapproachcomplemented by strong business judgment and intuition
