Company Overview:

Our Client, a Karachi based company, seeks to appoint experienced professionals for the following role:

DIVISIONAL ENGINEERS - PROJECT MANAGEMENT & CONSTRUCTION

Job Role

To supervise day to day maintenance, upgradation and construction works at Retail Outlets and Consumer Sales Facilities

Key Responsibilities

• Initiate Purchase Requisitions (PRs) for the execution of Maintenance & Repair (M&R) works at Retail outlets to ensure operational readiness
• Supervise all M&R works carried out by Contractors at Retail outlets and closely monitor work progress to ascertain its quality and quantity
• Conduct on-site job verifications for maintenance and construction works and manage efficient submission and processing of contractor invoices to ensure timely payments
• Facilitate Coordinator Retail Construction at Head Office for supervision of construction works on under construction sites and submit regular work progress reports. Submit post completion HSE audit checklist and completion certificate of Retail Outlet to the Head Office
• Monitor maintenance and construction works to ensure compliance with contractual terms, internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) standards, and statutory legal regulations
• Ensure execution of M&R works at Retail outlets within the allocated Expense Budget
• Comply with the instructions of Commercial team on day-to-day maintenance and construction issues pertaining to Retail outlets
• Provide technical assistance and necessary M&R services to Consumer Outlets as per guidelines
• Execute day-to-day transactions in SAP according to established company workflows and authorization levels
• Undertake any other task or function as may be assigned by the Management

Education

• Minimum 16 years of education having Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/ Civil Engineering from an HEC-recognized university or institution
• Master's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration or related discipline will be an added advantage

Experience

• Minimum 3 - 4 years of professional experience in Oil & Marketing, EPC Contractor companies, preferably in a large national/multinational organization with at least 1 - 2 years of related functional experience in construction supervision or retail fuel infrastructure development/ maintenance

Key Requirements

• Routine site visits for supervision of maintenance/ construction activities at Retail outlets
• Provide technical input for development and execution of the Retail outlets maintenance/ upgradation works
• Maintain close coordination with Indenting, Retail, HSE, Audit, Support Departments, and Contractors for efficient site execution
