Job Description

Are you ready to be the safety authority for a growing construction division? B.H. Inc. (BHI) is hiring a Divisional EHS Manager in Salt Lake City, Utah, for our Site Development and Concrete division. You will put OSHA standards, client requirements, and BHI policies into action on site and vertical concrete construction projects. The pay range is $95,000 - $120,000 per year.

You will report to the division leadership and work with our corporate EHS Director. Do you want to turn safety standards into daily results in the field?

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Implement OSHA standards, client safety standards, BHI policies, and SOPs across your assigned division
• Conduct site visits and audits to verify standards are followed in the field
• Verify field training, including forklift, competent person, and fall protection training
• Drive incident reduction and a proactive safety culture through consistent auditing
• Meet with mid-level management on daily tasks and delegations
• Track progress against the Mission Essential Task List (METL)
• Complete reporting and documentation that confirm safety standards are in place

QUALIFICATIONS

• OSHA 30 certification
• OSHA 500 or OSHA 510 certification
• Ability to visit job sites regularly and verify safety standards in the field
• Ability to coach and support mid-level management on safety expectations
• Comfort balancing time on site with reporting and clerical work

SCHEDULE AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm
• Potential weekend work
• Moderate travel, within Utah and surrounding states, depending on job location
• Based in Salt Lake City, Utah
