We have an exciting opportunity for you to join Fife Assessor Service as a Divisional Assessor. The role will be pivotal in driving professional training in the Service as well as the Assessor Information Notices/Civil Penalties process.
The job role:
To be responsible for the efficient work allocation, co-ordination and training of technical staff undertaking property surveys and valuations throughout Fife for the purposes of compiling and maintaining the Valuation Roll and Council Tax Valuation List. Taking a lead role in the Service for the survey and valuation of properties of a more specialist nature.

The Person
If you meet the essential qualification criteria outlined below, we would like to hear from you.
Educated to SCQF Level 9 which includes a degree or equivalent.
Qualified to full professional membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS/FRICS)
Practical working knowledge of the legislation and case law governing Council tax and Non-Domestic Rating
Ability to travel to various locations throughout Fife
Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership / Basic Disclosure through Disclosure Scotland.
