The Division Vice President, Chief Medical Executive (CME) is a key member of the Hospital’s Senior Administrative Team with primary activities in medical staff relations. The CME is a key member of the Hospital’s Senior Administrative Team with primary activities in medical staff relations, quality of care, patient safety, care continuity, patient experience, and Division/system leadership. This role reports directly to the Division CMO and works closely with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Chief Nurse Executive (CNE), and local and Sutter System Quality Teams to ensure the delivery of accessible patient-centered, high-quality, safe and equitable care. The CME plays a vital role in care integration and aligning local initiatives with Division and System strategies.

Pay Range is $337,000.00 to $561,700.00 / annual salary
The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
