Job Description

Based in Argentina, covering southern Latin America.

This position will support the Indirect Business Manager (IBM) and work closely with local Distributors to maximize Cook Medical's MedSurg Division (Urology Endoscopy and Critical Care) product initiatives within the region.

Develop and execute regional activities such as congresses, rep trainings and Medical Education initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical product training and support to distributor sales teams as well as to doctors, nurses and/or technicians on the use of Cook products.
  • Support training sales reps and customers in regional meetings.
  • Attend national and local meetings to support sales, procedural and product training.
  • Support and assist in the creation of training materials.
  • Identify opportunities to organize training, hands-on workshops, etc.
  • Develop and cultivate working relationships with subject matter experts.
  • Support clinical activities, test and research programs.
  • Support new product prototype testing, perform field market analysis.
  • Support new product launches and product presentations, tracking progress and growth.
  • Co-ride with distributor sales teams to support indirect sales
  • Identify customer opportunities for key products.
  • Communicate regularly with DSM Lead/IBMs on targets and strategies to identify market and growth opportunities.
  • Help DSM Lead/IBM to define detailed business plans for distributors, ensuring their needs are well defined, assessed and supported by the IMM and Division teams.
  • Work with marketing, product managers and other project managers on achieving regional goals.
  • Provide written reports to the DSM Lead/Manager, Indirect Business.
  • Within scope of responsibility, ensure all quality, regulatory, and product specific requirements are met.
  • Understand and be accountable for conducting Cook business with integrity and in compliance with applicable standards including Cook policy.
  • Ensure that Cook's Code of Conduct is complied with in all business matters carried out on COOK’s behalf by both Cook employees and Distributors.

Qualifications

  • Degree or above, major in medical science, business or other related discipline is preferred
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English.
  • Prior experience in outside medical sales or relevant clinical procedural experience preferred.
  • Medical/clinical experience or knowledge of relevant clinical procedures preferred.
  • Experience in providing training preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft software, e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint required.
  • Knowledge both of Cook and competitive products preferred.
  • Knowledge of the product range of the Division/Specialty and understanding of the associated medical discipline preferred.
  • Ability to travel domestically and weekends as needed up to 75%.
