Your mission, roles and responsibilities

Our Regional is looking for a China Health, Safety& Environment supervisor to be based at Shanghai. The role is to guarantee the respect and the enforcement of Faurecia HSE policy within the Chinaregion.

Key Responsibilities of the role are to:
· Monitor, interpret, and ensure sites full compliance with applicable national, local, and industry HSE laws, regulations, standards, and permits.
· Conduct regular compliance region audits,identify gaps, and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to eliminate violations.
· Implement the HSE Group policy within the Region
· Advise the project managers on new project HSE matters and ensure the implementation of recommendations (gate validation)
· Support workplace hazard identification, risk assessment (JSA, HIRA, etc.), and control measures for production, logistics, machinery, forklift, electrical, fire, chemical, and contractor activities.
· Investigate all sites’ work-related injuries, near-misses, property damage, and environmental events; identify root causes and ensure effective corrective actions are implemented and verified.
· Drive reduction in recordable injury rate, lost-time injury and total recordable incident rate.
· Ensure the follow-up and the consolidation of the monthly reporting of the indicators (FRxt,environmental data, ...)
· Establish, optimize, and promote regional HSE management systems aligned with BG requirements (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, etc.).
· Promote water & waste management, energy conservation, and environmental protection initiatives.
· Track the factory's CO2 indicators and promote the implementation of green environmental protection, energy saving and emission reduction action plans
· Promote the group's security policies and implement security standards in factories.
· Drive region HSE network activities (campaign, workshop, training, audit…)
· Update and circulate best practices in prevention and protection matters in all the plants of the Region and towards the BG
· Ensure the follow-up and the consolidation of HSE monthly reporting of the indicators (FRxt, key indicators, environmental data, ...)
· Maintain the China region data on the group's HSE platform

Your profile and competencies to succeed

· Bachelor's degree in engineering with a specialisation in Health, Safety & Environment
· Above 5 year’s experience in a manufactured plant or in an industrial environment
· According to the technologies of region , develop the relevant expertise (chemical, mechanical, ergonomic …)
· Knowledge of national legislation, ISO 14001, ISO45001, Loss prevention…
· Certified Safety Engineer (CSE) are preferred
· Minimum bi-lingual (English written & spoken required)
