As a Division Controller for the global Origination business, you will play a crucial role in managing the division’s financials, driving process improvements, and building the tools that allow for providing valuable business insights. Join our dynamic team and leverage your expertise to make a significant impact.

While the role is based in France, to ensure proximity to divisional management, the scope of work covers all 20+ branches and subsidiaries of Origination, which you will perform in close collaboration with the Swiss controlling team and finance managers globally. Some travel to visit the other locations is expected.

What you will do

• Oversee the division's financials including Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow, and other KPIs for both actual and forecast. Drive month-end closings including bridging the management and IFRS financial statements and preparing various reports and presentations.
• Initiate process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy of existing tools. Build new models for analysis, reporting and forecasting using different systems and data from numerous sources. Support ERP/consolidation-system projects.
• Support divisional management with decision-making, providing recommendations, and collaborating with other finance and risk departments including the local teams across our subsidiaries in Europe. Present complex financial concepts clearly to various stakeholders.

What you bring & who you are

• Strong analytical skills with a proactive, self-driven attitude, and willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication skills, innovative mindset, and a positive attitude towards change.
• Skilled in data analysis and reporting using MS Office, Power BI, SAP, Tagetik, VBA, and SQL.
• Knowledge of IFRS (especially IFRS 9), derivatives, budgeting, forecasting, and closing processes.
• Results-driven, good negotiating skills, and ability to thrive in an international, multidisciplinary, and dynamic environment.
• Degree in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Data Science or Chartered Expert in Financial and Managerial Accounting and Reporting.
• Fluent in English and French.
