Our award-winning client is seeking a Division Controller to join their team. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Division Controller to play a key role in leading our financial operations. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, and analysis for our division. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements, developing and implementing financial policies, and providing insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Financial Accounting:
• Manage the entire accounting cycle, including monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Consolidate financial statements by US GAAP.
• Analyze general ledger activity, prepare journal entries, and perform reconciliations.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and administrative staff.
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns.
• Implement and maintain strong internal controls.
• Support payroll processing.
• Financial Reporting & Analysis:
• Perform data analysis to support business initiatives.
• Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and planning.
• Manage cash flow and working capital.
• Develop and support pricing models.
• Prepare financial reports and presentations, highlighting key metrics and trends.
• Monitor performance, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions.
• Analyze variances and identify potential risks.
• Project Management:
• Lead the implementation of new accounting software (Sage Fixed Assets and Sage 100 enhancements).
• Develop and document accounting policies and procedures.
• Manage budget and forecasting processes for the division.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a divisional controller role or similar accounting leadership position.
• Proven experience in all aspects of the accounting cycle, including financial reporting and analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., GAAP, ERP systems).
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling is a plus.
