Salary Range: $200,309.20, TM1214 and EMF1
Reporting to the Deputy Fire Chief, the Division Chief – Mechanical Maintenance is one of two senior management positions within Toronto Fire Services (TFS) Mechanical Division. The Division Chief is responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day operations of the Mechanical Division in the delivery of high-quality services, staff development and customer service to internal TFS customers, and for ensuring the efficient utilization of divisional human, physical, and financial resources to meet departmental objectives and standards.
This Division Chief will primarily manage the TFS Mechanical Repair facility, located at 40 Toryork Drive, including all aspects of maintenance and repair operations for the TFS fleet of approximately 200 custom designed heavy emergency vehicles and approximately 250 emergency and non-emergency “light” vehicles, plus associated equipment and inventory.
