Program Overview – People & Culture, Central Services

What You Will Do
Internal Engagement & Capacity Building

  • Identify learning needs, tailor engagement approaches, and coordinate DIBE learning initiatives
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of DIBE resources, toolkits, and guidance materials
  • Lead internal committees and support Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)

Program & Initiative Support

  • Assist with the implementation and delivery of DIBE initiatives and action plans
  • Coordinate and facilitate organization-wide campaigns, awareness initiatives, and events

Communication & Awareness Building

  • Support the development and dissemination of DIBE communications
  • Promote awareness of DIBE commitments, initiatives, campaigns, and resources across the organization

Advisory & Coaching

  • Provide day-to-day guidance to managers and staff on DIBE-related questions, challenges, and workplace situations
  • Offer practical tools and language to help address issues related to bias, discrimination, and inclusion

Feedback, Insights, & Continuous Improvement

  • Support in the development and dissemination of DIBE surveys
  • Gather feedback to identify emerging DIBE needs and opportunities
  • Help monitor trends or themes and escalate systemic issues where appropriate


What You Bring to the Team

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or an equivalent combination of related education and/or experience
  • Professional certification in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusivity considered an asset
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in People & Culture and/or equity-focused work
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and digital collaboration tools (eg. SharePoint), along with familiarity with design and content creation tools (eg. Canva) and the ability to learn new systems
  • Experience in a unionized and/or not-for-profit environment considered an asset

  • Strong consultation skills, with the ability to provide practical guidance on DIBE-related issues.Effective facilitation and engagement skills, including experience delivering training or workshops.
  • Experience with program implementation and engagement initiatives, with the ability to create supportive spaces to foster dynamic conversations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex or sensitive topics in a clear and accessible manner.
  • Ability to support data collection, analysis, and interpretation, including gathering feedback, identifying key themes, and using insights to inform continuous improvement efforts.
  • Proven organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Sound judgment, tact, and discretion, particularly when navigating sensitive or complex situations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a complex, evolving environment, demonstrating flexibility, critical thinking, and a solutions-focused approach.
