The purpose of this position is to provide resources and social services navigation support to families and individuals that are in unstable housing or unhoused. The goal is that families using our diversion services can self-identify and target the most appropriate pathways to stability for themselves. This may be within our Vision House transitional housing, or it may be with a different provider, or even public housing. The Diversion Specialist must bring a combination of persistence, active listening, and research skills to each case. The Diversion Specialist role is to help encourage each applicant to work from their strengths, while recognizing their challenges. A Diversion Specialist is someone who enjoys problem solving with a team, learning something new every day, and engaging one on one with people living in complex circumstances.

HOURS: 40 hours per week, hourly, Monday-Friday based on program needs
