About this role:

The Diversified Industries ( DI) Credit Execution team is seeking a Diversified Industries Middle Office Credit Execution Manager This group is one of several Middle Office Credit Execution teams in Corporate Investment Banking Lending Operations (CIBLO) organization at Wells Fargo.

The DI Credit Execution team supports the Healthcare, Emerging Healthcare Technology, Industrials, Technology, Media & Telecom (TMT), Consumer & Retail, Global Canada and Sponsors lines of business within Corporate Investment Banking.

The DI Credit Execution team partners with the Portfolio Managers to book the credit exposure approved for their clients. The team documents the credit approvals in the system of origin and submits the required documentation to have the credit exposure booked to the system of record.

In this role you will:

  • Manage the activities of a subset of the DI Credit Execution Team responsible for pre-closing and post-closing tasks associated with facilitating corporate credit processing.
  • Assist in managing the allocation of resources to support credit onboarding activities.
  • Aid in making decisions and resolve issues regarding resources, objectives, and operations of the DI Credit Execution team.
  • Partner with loan closing/funding operations and servicing team to develop strong working relationships and resolve booking issues.
  • Collaborate and consult with CIBLO peers and multiple level managers.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory and Wells Fargo rules, policies, and regulations.
  • Collaborate extensively with Portfolio Management, Delivery Consultants, Control, Compliance, and Risk teams.
  • Participate in the formulation and implementation of new and revised procedures, policies, controls and guidelines.
  • Support the management of various reports, remediation efforts and other ancillary projects as needs arise.
  • Manage and develop a team of individual contributor roles.
  • Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Business Relationship Support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 2+ years of leadership experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of and experience in Credit, Counterparty, Treasury Management, and Trade products.
  • Sound understanding of documentation and corporate loan structures, speficially with outside counsel prepared credit documents.
  • Strong knowledge/experience in compliance, regulations, credit policy & processes and risk policy.
  • Knowledge of syndications, including agented and member deals.
  • Knowledge of nCino, Loan IQ, CoRS, TRE, ICMP and PowerBI systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changes and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong creative problem-solving skills and capacity to evalute situations from a broader perspective.
  • Team player, willing to fill in on various initiatives simultaneously.
  • Ability to work with all levels of management and have presence to interact with senior leaders.
  • Strong organizational skills with focus on tactical implementation.

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$87,000.00 - $154,000.00
