Job Description

On June 30, 2024, Manchester Tank announced the acquisition of Ditech Testing, joining the McWane family of companies, a strategic move that strengthens our capabilities within the propane tank and pressure vessel industry.

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician/Mechanic to join our team. This person is going to be responsible for installation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting and repairing equipment within the plant.

Responsibilities:

  • Install systems in accordance with Canadian Electrical Code, provincial regulations, and company standards
  • Maintain and repair systems with efficiency
  • Preventative Maintenance and inspections
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed to include hours worked and materials used
  • Read blueprints, diagrams and schematics drawings to determine work procedures
  • Inspect and examine machinery to detect and investigate irregularities
  • Repair and replace defective parts
  • Machinery and equipment assembly

These responsibilities are a highlight and not all inclusive of the work that will be required of this position.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience within manufacturing environment
  • RED SEAL Certified
  • Ability to work individually as well as with a team
  • Strong familiarity with electrical code
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Bilingual English and Franch
