ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct and enforce safety, regulatory, and quality standards and procedures in all regional warehouse facilities.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the effort and collaborate with District management,supervisionand employees onmaintaininga sustainable safety culture within theDistrictin concert with Company goals andobjectives
Responsible for ensuring all Safety, Regulatory, & Quality training is conducted, documented, and effective. Such as,
Process Safety Management (PSM), HM126F, Respirator, Electrical, Confined Space Entry, Lockout/Tagout, Hazardous
Waste, Emergency Response, etc.
Review all incidents andassistthe branches in investigating incidents and/or near misses and developing corrective action plans to correct.
Visit each branch in the district quarterly at a minimum or as needed.
Ensure branches are compliant with all regulatory requirements through training, audits, etc.
Conduct proper internal safety/regulatory audits of eachbranch on anannually.
Ensure branches have a functional ISO 9000 system and Job 7/Quality Teams, conduct internal audits of each branch’s ISO 9000 system.
Be on-site, as required, toassistwith third party ISO 9000 audits or customer audits.
Monitor JOB 7 performance at branches andassistin making improvements to our customer service system.
Conduct customer training as needed.
Obtain/prepare regulatory/technical information for customers.
Assistbranches in completing and updating PSM manuals, Lockout/Tagout information, and emergency contingency plans.
Review driver logs regularly to ensure correctness.
Ensure driver qualification files areup-to-datefor each branch.
Assistand monitor NACD Responsible Distribution Process within the District.
Assist with Emergency Response situations that occur within the district or as needed.
Support andparticipatein safety meetings and safety committee meetings at each branch.
Ensure all District facilitymonitoringreports required in the district are completed andforwardedto the proper agency.
Ensure regulatory programs such PSM, RMP, Lockout/Tagout, Respiratory Protection, Hot Work Permit, Confined Space, DHS and DOT site security plans and other programs, as applicable, are in place and functioning.
Ensure the corporate office is notified of all regulatory inspections and that any discrepancies noted during the inspection are corrected.
Other responsibilities asdesignatedby management.
Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to product, process, and quality system.
Identifyand record any problems relating to the product, process, and quality system.
Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through designated channels.
Verify the implementation of solutions.
Control further processing,deliveryor installation of non-conforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.

Thoroughunderstanding of the importance of customer service and the ability to work cooperatively with other branches, departments, and personnel in meeting customer needs.
Ability tointerface well withcustomers.

EDUCATIONAND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Health, Environmental, or related field; or a minimum of five to ten years ofmanagement experiencein a chemical or related industry that mustcomply withOSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations.
Thoroughunderstanding of the importance of customer service and the ability to work cooperatively with otherbranches, departments, and personnel in meeting customer needs.
Ability tointerface well withcustomers.
Ability tointerfaceand communicate in a professional manner with diverse employee groups including sales,management, supervisionand employees.
Ability tointerfaceand communicate in a professional manner (oral and written).
Computer skills to efficientlyperform the jobrequirements.
Ability to understand andcomply withall company policies and procedures.
Knowledge of statistical techniques used for continual quality improvement.
Experience with ISO Standard and Internal Quality Auditing.
