Tobii Dynavox District Sales Managers manage and support a team of Solution Consultants (SCs) in assigned territories within a specific region of the NA Market. District Sales Managers lead by example, supporting and leading with TobiiDyavox’svalues and mission. Strategically and operationally support and contribute to the business development of the district’s markets. District Sales Managersare responsible forgrowing and continuously improving the district’s financial performance and overall contribution to TobiiDynavox’sstrategic initiatives.

This district covers the states of Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virgina and DC. The District Sales Manager must live in the district.

Where you´ll work

Whileyou’llhave theoptionto work from home some days, this role requires significant travel to meet our potential customers, clients, and Solution Consultants within the district. 

Your days will be filled with:

Strategic and Operational Management:  

  • Support and understand the needs and journey of the customer within the AAC NA market.

  • Maintain knowledge of the industry through awareness of associations, publications, and seminars, as well as networking with customers, competitors, and industry-related colleagues.

  • Develop, review, and support Strategic Territory and District Roadmaps.

  • Identifyand support key account development in new and existing NA markets.

  • Support and implement the vision, values, and mission of Tobii Dynavox.

  • Support and implement TobiiDynavox’sbusiness initiatives at the territory and district level through assessment and communication of goals, as well as the impact of strategies.

  • Work with SCs toidentifykey personnel and sites that recommend and purchase Tobii Dynavox products;identifypurchasing trends of the customer base within each territory on potential sales of Tobii Dynavox products.

  • Support and implement external resource support development through cross-departmental collaborations for Tobii Dynavox customers.

  • Understand the impact of funding sources within the covered region.

  • Provide feedback on products and services needed in the field to Tobii Dynavox.

  • Ensure customer promotional activity through budgeting trade shows and local marketing while keeping ROI management in mind. Providing customers with presentations andvisitationwhenappropriateand within compliance and budgetary guidelines.

  • Perform administrative responsibilities, which include continuous improvement, time management, and communication skills, involvement with Funding and customer service, and the generation oftimelywritten reports.

  • Prioritize and manage corporate information with the knowledge of time sensitivity, political and legal ramifications, and confidentiality.

  • Utilize and understand how to apply leading and lagging sales metrics at the territory and district levels.

  • Use sales metrics and understanding of the territory market toestablishsales targets and goals.

  • Meet or exceed company-assigned district KPIs.

Financial Management: 

  • Coaching and leading district teams to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial targets.

  • Forecast sales monthly and quarterly, obtaining forecasts from SCs.

  • Management of expenses at territory and district levels through implementation of TobiiDynavox’sTravel and Expense Policy.

Staff Management and Professional Development:  

  • Support andcoach tothe Tobii Dynavox values andmission

  • Train, direct, support, mentor, and supervise SCs in selling TobiiDynavox’secosystem products, accessories, and support resources in collaboration with NA Market support departments.

  • Work with human resourcesonthe process of recruiting and hiring new SCs.

  • Regularlyanalyze forstaffing needs.

  • Evaluate andmonitorall reviews of SCs on a quarterly and annual basis.

  • Identifyand support the development of continuing education and professional development materials through cross-departmental collaborations for our SCs.

  • Participate and support professional development opportunities and events, i.e., learning pathways/assets and national and district sales meetings, both virtual and in person.

  • Provide professional development and coachingthrough the use ofindividual development and performance improvement plans and growth conversations.

  • ProactivelymonitorSC’s activity and leading indicators on a daily/weekly basis to ensure activity balance isappropriateand will meet the financial goals of the assigned territory.

Professional Ethics:  

  • Adhere to company policies and procedures as well as regulatory compliances.

  • Participate and ensure SCs participate and understand any ethics and regulatory compliance training and materials.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

  • BS or BA preferred or equivalent work experience.

  • 3-5 years of management experience or a history of successful sales experience

  • CRM, preferably MS CRM, experience preferred

  • Possession of a valid state driver's license and insured motor vehicle

  • Proof of Covid-19 vaccinationrequired

To be successful in this role and at Tobii Dynavox, you need to be eager to travel.

Skills needed to be successful in this position:

  • Excellent Interpersonal communication both oral and written with individuals and small to large groups

  • Sensitivityand ability to communicate effectively provide support to people of diverse cultures and backgrounds

  • Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team.

  • Ability to remain calm and focused while communicating in a stressful environment.

  • Debate issues in a collegial and courteous manner and effectivelyparticipatein group discussions.

  • Knowledge of specific computer programs/applications: Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, Apple, Google products recommended.

  • Use a computer application to enter, manipulate, and format numerical data; insert,delete, and manipulate cells, rows, and create and save worksheets, charts, and graphs.  (Spreadsheets)

  • Manage a team remotely and in person as needed.

  • Travel isrequired
