The District Sales Manageris responsible for carrying out all sales and marketing activities in the geographical territory to maintain, develop, and grow the overall sales volume in that territory in a manner that maximizes profitability.

A Sample of What You’ll Do in this Role:

• Plan and organize sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed business goals
• Plan and develop dealerdistributor network in specified territory according to the agreed market development strategy
• Motivate dealers and distributors to promote a portfolio of products and services
• Educate growers, dealers& distributors on new products
• Conduct direct farm visits to growers to promote and sell a portfolio of products
• Conduct direct visits to dealers and distributors to assist in selling a portfolio of products
• Sell and service equipment related to the application of fertilizer products
• Sell storage tanks related to the storage of fertilizer products
• Deliver fertilizer, parts & equipment, and storage tanks to dealers and farmers
• Conduct grower meetings to promote the use of products
• Attend farm shows to promote the use of products and services
• Locate and develop test plot locations as they relate to the research & development program
• Manage and collect accounts receivable as required to keep receivables current

What You Bring to the Role:

• Proven experience in agricultural sales, preferably with fertilizer or crop protection products
• Strong knowledge of local crops and market practices
• Familiarity with fertilizer storage, application equipment, and product logistics
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory

Compensation and Benefits:

• In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $91,200 - $127,750. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience
• This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and vacation, holidays, health, dental, vision, mental health, and retirement plan participation, including an employer contribution of up to 7% into your 401(k).
