The District Manager provides leadership, operational guidance, and strategic direction to multiple Popeyes locations within the assigned district. This position ensures operational excellence, drives sales performance, and develops high-performing management teams that deliver exceptional guest experiences and uphold the Popeyes brand standards.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-unit environment and can balance strategic oversight with day-to-day operational execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of 4–7 restaurant locations, ensuring consistent execution of company policies, procedures, and brand standards.
Recruit, train, and mentor General Managers and Assistant Managers to build strong, capable teams focused on operational success.
Analyze financial reports, identify performance gaps, and implement action plans to drive profitability, improve cost control, and manage P&L performance.
Partner with HR and Training teams to ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and safety standards.
Foster a guest-first culture by promoting exceptional service, food quality, and cleanliness across all locations.
Conduct regular store visits to monitor operations, coach managers, and reinforce company culture and values.
Collaborate with cross-functional departments (HR, Marketing, Facilities, and Training) to support new initiatives, remodels, and new restaurant openings.
Build a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and recognition.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3–5 years of multi-unit leadership experience in the QSR or fast-casual restaurant industry (Popeyes or similar brand experience preferred).
Proven track record of managing multiple locations with responsibility for P&L, people development, and operational results.
Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
Ability to travel within assigned district; valid driver’s license required.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
This position operates in a restaurant environment. Popeyes staff are frequently exposed to hot equipment, cleaning chemicals, and moderate noise levels. The role requires regular standing, bending, lifting, and reaching.
