This role currently oversees our shops in:
- Aventura
- Cocowalk
- Disney Springs
- Lincoln Road
- Wynwood
As a District Manager, you’ll help shape the experience for both guests and team members across some of our most dynamic and fast-paced shops. You’ll coach and develop General Managers, strengthen operations, support growth, and help create the kind of culture people want to be part of.
This is a role for someone who loves hospitality, thrives in movement, and believes strong teams are built through consistency, curiosity, accountability, and care.
What Our District Managers Do
District Managers at Salt & Straw are operational leaders, people developers, and culture builders who bring our values to life across multiple shops. You’ll:
- Lead, coach, and support General Managers across the district, helping them grow as leaders and operators
- Build strong, engaged teams rooted in trust, accountability, and human kindness
- Oversee daily shop operations across multiple locations, ensuring excellence in hospitality, cleanliness, food safety, and execution
- Use data and insights to drive results in sales, labor, profitability, and guest experience
- Partner cross-functionally with People Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams to support shop success
- Navigate challenges with thoughtfulness and adaptability while celebrating wins along the way
- Support hiring, development, retention, and succession planning across the district
- Strengthen community presence and help Salt & Straw show up generously within local neighborhoods
- Travel regularly between shops to stay connected to teams and operations
- Taste ice cream daily to better understand and share our rotating flavors and products (yes, really)

QualificationsThis Role Might Be Right If You:
- Have 5+ years of multi-unit leadership experience in hospitality, restaurant, retail, or guest-focused operations
- Know how to coach, develop, and support leaders with clarity and care
- Have experience managing high-volume operations and driving business performance
- Understand how to balance hospitality, culture, and operational accountability
- Thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments with a hands-on leadership approach
- Love building strong teams and creating memorable guest experiences
- Are comfortable traveling regularly between shop locations throughout South Florida
- Believe leadership should be both people-centered and results-driven
Wage Transparency
We are actively embracing pay transparency. The salary range for this role is $91,800–$124,200 annually, which reflects the full earning potential for District Managers within this market.
Most new hires can expect to start within our target hiring range of approximately $91,800–$101,500, depending on experience, qualifications, and alignment with the role.
This role is also eligible for quarterly performance bonus opportunities tied to operational and financial goals.
