District Manager – Automotive Repair Service Centers

N. Illinois / Milwaukee, W Area | Full-Time | $70,000–$110,000 + Bonus

We’re looking for an experienced District Manager to oversee up to 15 shop locations in the N. Illinois / Milwaukee, W Area. If you’re a hands-on, people-first leader with a passion for operational excellence and team development, this is your opportunity to make a lasting impact.

What You’ll Do

• Develop Shop Managers & Service Advisors into culture-driven leaders
• Ensure shops are fully staffed and PTO is managed to meet demand
• Hire, train, and retain top-performing shop leadership
• Lead training on operations, sales, and service excellence
• Manage budgets and capital expenses to maximize profitability
• Conduct bi-weekly shop visits with clear follow-up and accountability
• Own vendor/supplier relationships and minimize in-shop disruptions
• Enforce safety, compliance, and company standards
• Collaborate with senior leadership and support teams

80% of your time will be spent in the field with your teams—where the real impact happens.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of multi-unit management experience (required)
• 3+ years in an automotive service center (required)
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• High school diploma or equivalent (degree a plus)
• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to travel up to 75%
