Job Description

Popeyes is seeking an energetic, people-focused, and results-driven District Manager to oversee the operations of four restaurant locations in the Springfield, Missouri market.

The District Manager is responsible for driving sales, profitability, operational excellence, guest satisfaction, and team development across all assigned restaurants.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys coaching restaurant leaders, and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences while developing high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

  • Provide leadership, direction, and support to General Managers and restaurant management teams.
  • Conduct regular restaurant visits to ensure compliance with Popeyes operational standards, food safety requirements, and brand expectations.
  • Drive consistent execution of company initiatives, promotions, and operational programs.
  • Analyze restaurant performance metrics and develop action plans to improve results.
  • Ensure restaurants maintain outstanding standards for cleanliness, food quality, speed of service, and hospitality.

Financial Performance

  • Manage district sales growth, profitability, labor costs, food costs, and controllable expenses.
  • Review and analyze P&L statements and key performance indicators.
  • Develop strategies to achieve sales, profit, and operational goals.
  • Hold restaurant leadership teams accountable for meeting financial and operational objectives.

Team Development & Talent Management

  • Recruit, develop, and retain top-performing General Managers and restaurant leaders.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback.
  • Build strong succession plans to support future growth and internal promotions.
  • Lead management training and leadership development initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and recognition.

Guest Experience

  • Champion a guest-first culture throughout the district.
  • Respond to escalated guest concerns and ensure timely resolution.
  • Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance the customer experience.
  • Ensure each restaurant delivers exceptional hospitality and service standards.

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, health department regulations, food safety standards, and labor laws.
  • Maintain a safe environment for guests and team members.
  • Conduct restaurant audits and follow-up on corrective action plans as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of multi-unit restaurant management experience.
  • Proven success leading multiple restaurant locations in a quick-service restaurant environment.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth and profitability.
  • Strong business acumen and experience managing P&L performance.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
