As Soligent, the leading pure-play solar distributor in the US, continues to grow rapidly, we're seeking a highly skilled Supervisor, Distribution to oversees diverse material distribution duties to ensure timely and accurate receiving, shipping, inventory and material handling transactions both from an informational (data entry and communication) and a physical hands-on standpoint in our Tampa, FL location.

The Supervisor, Distribution is hands on and is responsible for the daily management & coordination of all distribution activities, operations, and communication with management to ensure conformance to established procedures, and plays an instrumental part in bringing clean, affordable, and modern energy to the world. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Manage daily warehouse operations to maximize productivity and meet KPI.

· Oversee inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

· Supervise and audit shipments, documentation, and delivery drivers.

· Ensure safety standards, facility maintenance, and administrative compliance.

· Coordinate transportation scheduling and inventory control.

· Investigate and resolve distribution issues, implement continuous improvement initiatives.

· Maintain housekeeping standards and support a safe working environment.

· Responsible for direct report supervision.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Valid state driver’s license.

Physical Demands:

· Ability to load/unload shipments in various weather conditions.

· Work in environments with varying temperatures and noise levels.

· Lift and move at least 50 pounds repeatedly; climb ladders up to 20 feet.

· Wear appropriate safety equipment.

Mental Demands:

· Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a busy, interrupt-driven environment.

· Effective communication skills (oral and written) with team members, management, vendors, and customers.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team, exercise sound judgment, and maintain professionalism.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

· 3+ years of warehouse supervisory experience

· Proficiency in Excel, ERP (NetSuite preferred), WMS, and TMS systems.

· Forklift operation and certification (preferred)

· Ability to safely operate a box truck as needed.

· Strong commitment to excellence, flexibility, and adaptability.

· Working knowledge of payroll systems, with Paylocity experience preferred.

· Foundational understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs), labor, freight, and supply costs.
