DRP Specialist

Loacation: Head Office - Lahore, Pakistan
Job Type: Full-time

At Nestlé, we believe in delivering the right product, at the right place, at the right time. As a DRP Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing the supply network by ensuring optimal stock levels across distribution points while balancing service, cost, and freshness objectives.

A Day in the Life of a DRP Specialist

  • Analyze and optimize supply plans and dispatch requirements to meet customer demand while considering network constraints

  • Plan and optimize transportation loads to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness

  • Manage inventory levels to balance product availability with working capital and freshness targets

  • Monitor and resolve planning exceptions, making data-driven decisions aligned with business priorities

  • Ensure timely execution of weekly planning cycles and maintain strong service levels for local and Inter-Market Supply (IMS) customers

  • Identify risks related to volume fluctuations and proactively escalate to relevant stakeholders

  • Drive continuous improvement in logistics and supply planning processes

  • Define and maintain Distribution Center (DC)-wise stock cover policies

  • Collaborate closely with Customer Service, Transport, and DC Operations teams to ensure seamless execution

What Will Make You Successful

  • 1–3 years of experience in Supply Chain, preferably in:

    • Distribution Center Operations

    • Transport Operations

    • Factory Logistics

    • Demand & Supply Planning

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Solid understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes

  • Ability to manage complexity and make timely, effective decisions

  • Familiarity with planning tools (e.g., SAP APO) is a plus

  • Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability

Key Success Measures

  • Customer Service Level achievement

  • Inventory optimization and working capital management

  • Freshness of stock

  • Dispatch schedule adherence

  • Effective execution of Operational Demand & Supply Review (OpDSR)

  • Timely communication of key supply risks and exceptions
