The Distribution Manager will be located at our Byhalia, MS distribution center location. They will report directly to the Senior Distribution Center Manager.
Shift: Monday – Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm
Salary: $90,000 to $100,000 per year

What you will be doing:
The Distribution Manager will lead our Shipping/Receiving Department and master distribution center operations while championing safety and driving process improvements. You'll coordinate daily assignments, manage inventory transitions, oversee facility compliance, and partner across departments. This position will report directly to the Senior Distribution Center Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Prioritize safety through consistent leadership, monthly training, audits, and incident documentation
Achieve on-time shipping measured by percentage of shipments departing on promised date
Maintain inventory accuracy per established KPI and cycle count process
Drive measurable continuous improvement initiatives with quarterly reporting
Lead team performance through regular crew meetings, performance audits, corrective action, and annual reviews
Develop and maintain procedures documentation, train associates on all procedures with consistent follow-up and compliance verification
Ensure facility operations through opening/closing, 24/7 availability for emergencies, payroll processing, and equipment/supply approvals
Support cross-functional needs including backup to Shipping Team Leader and Logistics Coordinator, and assist Customer Service with order information and customer satisfaction
Recruit, hire, interview candidates, and partner with HR on employee coaching, discipline, training, and development
What you bring:
High school diploma or GED
Minimum 5 years’ experience
Functional knowledge of SAP or similar ERP Program including the use of WMS programs
Ability to deliver clear and informative written and oral communication
Above average Excel/Word/PowerPoint skills
Strong communication ability
Independently builds relationships & networks and uses them to realize goals
Maintains constructive and proactive working relationships within shipping departments at all locations and with all external departments interactive with the shipping department.
