Lead a High-Performance Distribution Operation at Garan, Inc.

Garan, Inc. is one of America's leading children's apparel companies, supplying quality products to premier big box retailers. We are seeking an experienced Distribution Facility Manager to oversee our fast-paced Opelika, Alabama distribution center.

This is an opportunity to lead a team of approximately 75 associates within a highly automated facility that utilizes conveyor technology and advanced warehouse systems to deliver exceptional service to customers nationwide.

What You'll Do

• Lead all warehouse and distribution operations.
• Manage a workforce of approximately 75 associates, supervisors, and team leaders.
• Drive performance in a high-volume, quick-turn fulfillment environment.
• Optimize ERP and WMS processes to improve efficiency and inventory accuracy.
• Manage automated conveyor operations and warehouse workflow.
• Ensure outstanding customer service and retailer compliance performance.
• Develop and execute continuous improvement initiatives.
• Foster a culture focused on safety, engagement, quality, and accountability.

What We're Looking For

• Proven distribution center leadership experience.
• Strong ERP and WMS systems background.
• Experience managing automation and conveyor-based warehouse operations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large teams and drive measurable operational improvements.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Retail distribution experience preferred.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of progressive distribution center leadership experience.
• 3+ years managing high-volume warehouse operations.
• Experience leading teams of 50+ associates.
• Strong experience working within ERP and Warehouse Management Systems.
• Experience managing automated material handling equipment and conveyor systems.
• Demonstrated success improving operational performance through technology and process improvement.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, reporting tools, and KPI-driven management.
